Hello! My name is Theresa Cooney. I’m passionate about helping others achieve their dreams, whether through years of nonprofit leadership or now as a loan officer. Happily married to my husband, Brian, we were the first couple to be married in the iconic Shell in Charlevoix, a community we fell in love with long before calling it home.

With an undergraduate degree in communications and a master’s in organizational leadership, I have a strong background in advocacy and client support. After three years as part-time residents, Brian and I made Northern Michigan our permanent home, drawn by its beauty, welcoming people and vibrant local life.

My nature as a helper shines through in everything I do. I’m dedicated to guiding clients through the mortgage process with care and expertise, ensuring they find the right loan program to make homeownership a reality.
