Hello! I’m Ray, an Army Veteran whose life was changed by the VA loan. Inspired by my grandfather, a WWII Veteran, I pursued service myself and graduated from West Point in 2013 — proof that determination can outweigh geography and English homework. I served as an engineer officer at Fort Knox (still no gold) and worked with the Army Corps of Engineers in Savannah, where I discovered real estate, beach volleyball and my wife, Kendall.

After reaching financial independence through real estate investments, Kendall and I wandered the country before settling in McCall, ID, where buying a log cabin nudged me into home financing. Now part of the Victor Alpha Group, I help Veterans use VA loans to achieve their own homeownership dreams.

Off the clock, I’m raising two kids and embracing dad life with skiing, woodworking and smoking meat — classic dad activities I once swore I’d never lean into
